SIGN 481 Interpreting Practicum I: Specializations and Stakeholders This course provides an opportunity for students to apply their knowledge, skills, and experiences in a variety of interpreting settings–in education, business, public service agencies, and as freelance interpreters. Students will participate in supervised field work. Students will also attend a weekly seminar to examine the various sub-fields of interpreting and to discuss linguistic and ethical dilemmas.
