COMM 310 Oral Traditions This foundational course introduces students to the study of oral tradition - the verbal transmission and preservation of information from one generation to the next - and its history and processes. Taking a multi-dimensional perspective, students study a range of verbal sources starting with the known origins of oral communication up to the modern application of spoken word performance.
