Students will create their own dance studies in response to a variety of assigned exercises. Topics will include concepts such as space, time, shape, and dynamics, and processes for the invention, manipulation and structuring of movement materials. Improvisation and other physical processes will be employed as works are developed, revised and solidified into repeatable forms.
