COMM 520 Media Ecosystems In this capstone project, each graduate student will lead a team of undergraduates to analyze the civic impact and the reciprocal relationships between a media outlet and a local community. By applying media theories of public sphere, media ecology, and audience studies, the group conducts a social power analysis to explore the information flow, power relationships, and impact of all participants in the media ecosystem. Each team will deliver a professional media kit to their industry partner.
