BUSE 180 Creating a Business Plan A compelling idea, the business and revenue models, its operational framework, and the accompanying marketing strategy are essential elements for the development of a new venture within the creative economy. Designing these components of a new venture and articulating them in a business plan is crucial in launching and sustaining a creative idea as a viable money-making entity. Students in this course will learn to outline, draft, and present a business plan for a creative idea of their own, and learn how these plans are evaluated by stakeholders such as employees, partners, and investors.
