AUDI 121 Production Foundations


Open to all majors, course introduces foundational skills and knowledge for pursuing any variety of paths in audio production. Course introduces students to the essential techniques and components for producing quality audio. Instruction covers digital recording and non-linear editing including introductory microphone usage and basic signal flow. Course is taught in a classroom laboratory through lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on creative projects. Students focus on short audio works of voice, music, and sound design which develop their technical skills and aid in focusing their individual talents.
