CINE 434 BFA Applied Directing Techniques This course takes the directing skills and techniques learned in the introductory and intermediate BFA directing curriculum and applies them to an advanced short, low-impact project as a final opportunity for directors to hone their craft prior to directing the Thesis project. Emphasis is on character behavior and action over dialogue in visual storytelling. Students will perform a self-evaluation of their directing and identify their strengths and areas for continued improvement in preparation for directing their BFA Thesis the following semester.
Repeatable: N Prerequisites CINE 325 Directing II with a grade of B or better. Concurrent Requisite CINE 433 BFA Thesis Development and Preproduction Requirements BFA Students Only (BFA) BFA in Film and Television, Directing Concentration Minimum Credits 3 Maximum Credits 3
