ARTS 107 4D: Time + Action 4D: Time + Action introduces students to the dynamic principles of time-based art and design. Exploring concepts such as movement, transformation, and sequencing, the course emphasizes visual storytelling through a variety of media such as video, sound, and performance. Projects highlight the use of rhythm, pacing, and narrative in static and time-based compositions, allowing students to experiment with how time shapes still and moving images. Through studio exploration, critiques, and hands-on exprimentation, the course encourages critical thinking and effective communication, equipping students with a foundational language for future studies in the visual arts.
