CINE 538 Developing Screenplay Ideas


This J-session course is an intensive workshop in ideation and development of concepts for cinema and television projects. Over the course of two weeks, students will conduct ideation exercises, brainstorming sessions, story pitches, and critique sessions all designed to jump start the creative process and develop multiple concepts that can be expanded on in subsequent semesters. The course also provides an in-person opportunity for the cohort to meet and collaborate in person. 

Prerequisites CINE 530 Casting for Film and Television  
Requirements Since this course is an in-person experience in an otherwise online program, it’s available to MFA and MA in Screenwriting and Development students only. 2
Minimum Credits 2 Maximum Credits Spring (SP)
