22-1705 Product Design II: Design Paradigms This course focuses on the idea of design paradigms (or models of existing solution types) within design and builds the students’ awareness of this critical methodology for solving problems by breaking the issues down to the most elemental nature. Through a series of lectures and small projects, students are exposed to the nature of paradigms and their flexible capabilities for multiple applications to various design problems.
