37-2602 Working in the Deaf-Blind Community This course is an introduction to various aspects of the deaf-blind community. Designed for individuals who may or may not have had prior experience with the deaf-blind community, this course focuses on the variety of cultural norms and modes of communication that can be found within that community. Student will begin to develop an understanding of the role of the Support Service Provider (SSP)/sighted guide and will have opportunities for hands-on practical experience and community interaction.
2 Credits Requisites PREREQUISITES: 37-1252 Deaf Culture and 37-2153 American Sign Language III
