41-3300 WCRX Practicum I This course provides hands-on experience in the operation of college radio station WCRX. Students become proficient with new digital tools and various digital platforms to understand and effectively use social media in a live broadcast environment. Students work on the air as a music or talk host, news or sports anchor, or call play-by-play sports. They may also work in production or as a social media producer to develop content and maintain social media on-line communities for WCRX. Course requires a minimum of six hours per week of practial activity and two class hours per week.
