50-3406 Drugs and the Brain Ranging from socially accepted and legal drugs, like nicotine and caffeine, to medication, recreational and spiritual substances, this course explores the effects of drugs on the brain, body, and the mind in the context of the individual and society. This scholarly and scientific course offers students the opportunity to gain a scientific understanding of the precise neurological effects of a range of pharmacological substances.
