50-2501 Law and Society Course examines the crucial importance and objectives of laws in modern society. Constitutional law, criminal law, family law, consumer law, and employment law are studied to provide students with a better understanding of the interrelationship between law and the larger society of institutions, processes, and goals. Students are introduced to the role of judicial precedent and legislation in our society from both theoretical and practical points of view.
