ANIM 105 Introduction to Traditional Animation This course is an introduction to basic animation principles for students with little or no animation production experience. Students explore basic animation techniques including object, hand-drawn, stop-motion, and alternative animation styles. Animated films, both domestic and international, are screened and discussed. Students complete short exercises in each of the techniques mentioned and complete a final project employing a style of their choice that was previous explored during the semester.
