THEA 301 Advanced Acting: Heightened Languages Students will develop performance and analytical skills demanded by texts with heightened language. Emphasis will be placed on how heightened language supports acting choices, and on physical engagement with the text through breath, resonation and the tactile feel of language. Students will research and perform texts from a wide spectrum of cultural, economic and social diversity. This is an advanced acting class that synthesizes learning from previous classes in text analysis, theater history, scene study and vocal and physical training.
