THEA 120 Comedy Foundations I: Ensemble and Discovery This course introduces students to the elements and principles of process that can be applied to all aspects of comedy creation. Students will practice and hone improvisation, writing, and performance skills through in class exercises and solo and group composition assignments with a focus on how jokes, physical comedy, and comedic narrative function across mediums. Course will culminate in a final performance of an ensemble written mini sketch revue.
