ILLU 213 Illustration History & Practice This course covers and analyzes the origins of contemporary illustration. The course examines, from a historical perspective, illustrators, illustration trends, styles, and techniques from print to animated motion pictures. Significant illustrators and illustrations are featured throughout the semester. Course objectives are to gain a better appreciation of illustration and its origins, as well as learning to analyze how illustration has reflected and influenced our society and culture today.
