CULS 403 Practicing Urban Studies Prepares students with the tools and conventions of contemporary research in the field of Urban Studies in order to create a project proposal for the Cultural Studies Capstone Project course. Students learn how to locate and analyze primary and secondary source materials, prepare a literature review, and develop an inquiry based, original research project proposal based on a topic of their choice. Students will explore a variety of research methods and learn to apply one or more of them to the Capstone Project proposal.
