HIST 352 Harlem Renaissance: 1918-1935 Period of artistic experimentation among black creative artists in the 1920s is studied through the works of black writers from the Harlem Renaissance. Their relationship with emerging American avant-garde writers and the evolution of the Afro-American literary tradition is explored.
