ILLU 360A Illustration: Materials & Techniques Students will be given the opportunity to create innovative illustrations through the hands-on exploration of a series of materials- and techniques-based projects. Contemporary and historical approaches within the field of illustration will be presented and discussed. By engaging with a variety of textures and surfaces, watercolor and gauche painting, ink applications and other media, students will be encouraged to seek deeper connections between seeing, thinking, and making, as it relates to the field of illustration.
