BUSE 671 Introduction to Creative Entrepreneurship: Ideation and Discovery of New Ventures This course introduces concepts in entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial management within existing organizations. The course addresses why creativity and innovation are important to business and society and how to identify points of pain and opportunities in the marketplace. It also explores what makes a good entrepreneur and a student’s propensity for starting their own business. The course teaches students how to target consumers and market segments, while also developing their own initial business opportunity and assessing its market viability.
