COMM 530 Communication Research


This is the second class in the Strategic Communication MA focused on core communication research tools and research methodologies needed by strategic communication professionals today. Tools and methods explored include industry consumer profile databases, social media listening, mobile consumer diaries, digital and physical groups, in-home studies, co-creation and projective technique exercises, and more. The final project is a communication research project for an organization., suitable for inclusion in the student’s portfolio upon graduation.
