Students will choose one to two scenes from an established play to direct. Students will cast play from the The School of Theatre and Dance student body, direct the play, and mount three performances in the Classic Studio. Final productions may be 20 minutes or less. Material is subject to instructor approval. Rehearsals are held outside class hours and are determined by student director and cast. Class time is spent on script analysis, composition, dynamic staging, staging exercises, and paying attention to the actor’s process.
