AUDI 218 Foley and Sfx Creation

This course offers hands-on projects designed to prepare students to spot/cue, record and pull library sound effects for videos they will be working with. Students will then design effects tracks in professional, industry standard, DAWs for trailers, games, podcasts, and theatrical stage performances. Students will spot, perform, and record Foley tracks as needed for projects assigned. Class projects will also include studio time to walk the footsteps and record the props. Final projects will require the cueing, shooting, and editing of Foley and sound effects on student films, old movie trailers, commercials, and documentaries.
