22-3263 Professional Practices in Fine Art Course addresses professional issues such as portfolio preparation, approaching galleries, dealing with establishing alternative spaces, internships, residencies, and granting opportunities. Preparation for graduate school, exhibition, and installation strategies will be central to the class. Reading and field trips to commercial and alternative galleries and museums will support an interdisciplinary approach to professional practice. Course is required for all Fine Art majors.
