23-3730 Visual Books Advanced level course provides photography students with an opportunity for in-depth study of the photographic book. The history, production, and use of the book format as an artistic medium and repository for photographic images is examined. The structure of the book is addressed, with attention to issues of narrative, visual sequencing, pacing, and movement. Students will produce professional quality photographic books that may utilize a variety of forms and materials with emphasis on the unity of form and content.
3 Credits Requisites PREREQUISITES: 23-2201 Digital Imaging I or 23-2202 Foundations of Digital Imaging
