24-2210 Introduction to Digital Cinematography Introduction to Digital Cinematography will show students the similarities and differences between film camera systems and electronic camera acquisition systems, using lecture, demonstration, and example. Building on the fundamental knowledge that students have gained in the Foundation curriculum of the Film & Video Department, students will be shown how the basic functions and relationships in camera systems and support have similar attributes, and similar outcomes, but with sometimes very different methodologies and consequences relative to the production process. This knowledge will be integrally useful for student filmmakers in creative storytelling.
