31-2315 Stage Combat I Beginning course teaches how to create the illusion of violence for stage and screen including basic instruction in Unarmed (feet, fists, slaps, punches, kicks, falls, and rolls) and Rapier and Dagger (Parries, cuts, thrusts and more!). The emphasis is on safe and realistic violence for the stage. Midterm scenes will be performed in the classroom. Final scenes will be performed on the main stage during Performance Week.
3 Credits Requisites PREREQUISITES: 31-1205 Acting I: Scene Study and 31-1305 Body Movement for Actors I
