31-2325 Accents and Dialects This course asks students to examine and practice the 10 most commonly used English and foreign language dialects encountered in English-speaking theatre. Content emphasizes technical aspects of dialect, such as vowel and consonant pronunciation, lilt, rhythm, and vocabulary, and how they affect a theatrical character’s personality.
