32-3531 Vocal Improvisation I This course is designed to assist the intermediate pop and jazz voice student in applying improvisational techniques. The intermediate student will learn to recognize, imitate, and apply the vocal stylizations of established popular singers. Through the process of singing transcriptions of the improvisations from the masters of popular styles, the students will garner vocal agility and confidence for singing with the instrumental ensemble in which they are concurrently enrolled.
3 Credits Requisites PREREQUISITES: 32-2512 Techniques in Singing II and 32-2121 Theory II and 32-2111 Aural Skills II
