38-3400 Observation, Assessment, & Documentation Course provides a framework for developing the skills and mindset necessary to integrate technology into an educational setting. Activities are aligned with State Technology Standards and include an introduction to children’s and professional software; hardware; and social, ethical, and human issues related to technology. Students work with interactive authoring environments and explore applications with children. Because the course assumes a Constructivist/Constructionist approach, it must be taken concurrent with field experience. Students are supported in the construction of a professional portfolio.
