43-2210 Recording I Course introduces students to the theories, technologies, and practice of multi-track recording sessions. This is the first studio techniques class to be taken by students who select the Audio Design & Production concentration. Classes focus on the fundamentals of multi-track recording, building upon the fundamentals of console design and signal processing systems as presented in Production I Audio, Basic Audio Systems, and Audio Production II. The class includes lecture-demonstrations, in-class group tracking sessions, and additional lab assignments, which are completed in the studios and labs of the Audio Arts & Acoustics Department.
