43-2415 Random Access Audio/Film Course provides students with a solid foundation in working with digital audio workstations, the role of which is expanding rapidly in the field of video and film postproduction. Through lectures, demonstrations, and production assignments, students gain valuable knowledge of theory and practices of digital audio recording, wave form editing, synchronization with visual media, digital multi-track postproduction, automated mixing, and other computer-based production techniques commonly used in multi-media, video, and film production. Students participate in classroom activities and complete assigned work in the ATC Digital Audio Production Laboratory.
