43-3527 Digital Audio Console Practicum Course focuses on the role of the digital console in the context of the live sound reinforcement environment. It provides a detailed description and analysis of console operations, including setup, patching, routing, communications, file management, onboard and outboard effects, scenes, defined keys, and integration with other digital devices. Students will be asked to learn both the theory and practical application of console methodology. They will also be exposed to multiple platforms to illustrate the similarities and differences between different manufacturer approaches to digital consoles.
