46-3530 Queer Theory This course engages concepts of Queer Theory and the central architects of this relatively new field. The course is divided into three sections: Theory, Cultural Manifestations, and Praxis. In section I: Theory, students become familiar with key concepts through both core texts and critical interpretations. Section 2: Cultural Manifestations, focuses on cultural expressions of theory, e.g. art, film, and literature. In section 3: Praxis, students demonstrate contemporary applications either through their own work or through the work of others.
