                  50-1602 Women’s Health Care Issues  Course takes an interdisciplinary social-scientific approach to covering many contemporary medical issues facing women in America. Content examines past and present institutional nature of the American medical profession and its delivery of health care for women. Class analyzes various other health care organizations and the quality of health care offered women. Other topics include women’s responsibility and autonomy in relation to their health; family, work, and other societal factors affecting women’s health; violence against women; women’s health care centers; and how women are changing health care institutions.
