50-2421 Conflict Resolution In many American communities, particularly its inner cities, violence is epidemic. Globally, declared and undeclared armed conflict continues. Our communities and world are in great need of change agents and communicators who can understand the methods of conflict resolution, the complexities surrounding human rights issues, and the consequences of apathy and indifference. This course takes a social psychological approach in examining several different models of conflict resolution/mediation in families, the workplace, the community and globally, noting distinctions among social, ecological, political, spiritual, and economic contexts.
