51-2101 Harlem: 1920’s Black Art and Literature Period of artistic experimentation among black creative artists in the 1920s is studied through the works of black writers from the Harlem Renaissance. Their relationship with emerging American avant-garde writers and the evolution of the Afro-American literary tradition is explored.
