54-3705 Debate and Individual Events Course is an introduction to problems and principles involved in arguing and debating. Students develop the analytical tools for argumentation while examining the techniques and applications of debate. Individual events are interpreted and analyzed with the intention of conveying an author’s meaning to an audience in a competitive environment.
