56-1185 Marine Biology This class examines the diversity of marine organisms from the smallest worms to predatory sharks to the largest whales, from the deepest trench to the shore. Students will explore the special adaptations that allow organisms to thrive and create the complex web of ocean life. This class contains a lab component; field trips to the Shedd Aquarium; and a final project that incorporates the students’ interests, majors, and cultural backgrounds with course material.
