70-6410 Research Methods This course is the first in a four-course series designed to prepare the student as a researcher and consumer of research in the fields of counseling and dance/movement therapy. The course will provide a basic overview of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies followed by an exploration of research methods in ethical and legal contexts appropriate to counseling and dance/movement therapy. The series of research courses, beginning with Research, and continuing with Literature Review Seminar, Thesis Seminar and thesis Credit will culminate in the completion of a Master’s Thesis and a presentation of a research poster at the Research Celebration.
