56-1601 Documentation for Conservators The conservation and restoration of artworks involve a broad range of methodologies all of which require some form of documentation. When dealing with works of art, it is very important that anything that affects the physical artwork in any way be recorded and archived as part of the living history of the piece. This course will cover the primary documentary methods including photography, videography, written and audio note taking as well as presentation of these various forms of documentation using Microsoft PowerPoint.
