43-3250 Master Class in Classic Studio Techniques Course focuses on the craft of studio recording as it developed in the first era of the audio industry, prior to the advantages afforded us by digital technologies. This lecture/lab course is designed to teach the technologies, theories and creative processes engineers embraced in that era, such as live-to-stereo recording, linear-analog recording and editing, producing reverb using the analog plate and natural reverb chambers, analog delay techniques, and hybrid processing (daisy-chains) using discrete signal processors.
