56-2810 Image Optics Course explores geometrical and physical optics for photographers and cinematographers. Topics include reflection and refraction of light, virtual and real optics, the eye and perception, and demonstrations of optical systems and various scopes. Students must be competent in high school algebra and geometry.
3 Credits SL Requisites PREREQUISITES: 56-1720 College Mathematics or COMPASS Placement Test score >= 50 or 56-2710 College Algebra or SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test) score >= 490
